DC motor 12v is a rotary motor that can convert the direct current’s electric energy into mechanical energy or convert mechanical energy into direct current’s electric energy. DC motor 12v is constituted by a stator and a rotor. The static part is the stator.

The stator, whose main function is to generate magnetic field, is composed of a base, a main pole, a commutating pole, an end cover, a bearing, a brush device and etc. The rotating part is the rotor. The main role of the rotor is to generate electromagnetic torque and induction electromotive force.

The rotor is the hub of energy conversion of DC motor 12v, so it is often referred to the armature and is composed of a shaft, the armature core, an armature winding, commutator, fan and etc.
